Across challenging, high Alpine terrain or relaxed family cycle tours beside the Vinschgau railway where stations offer cycles for rent and where you can put the bike on the train and return it at your starting point. Whether along the broad routes through the orchards and vineyards in the Adige Valley, on forestry roads rated medium-challenging, or on technically demanding mountain trails, here cycling enthusiasts are spoilt for choice.

Our tip for cyclists with stamina: a ride up to the Stilfser Joch pass starting directly in front of our hotel: 27 kilometres with 48 switchbacks and through a difference in elevation of 2,000 metres (6,560 ft), this is one of the most challenging road cycle rides in the entire Alps.
